SciFi and Fantasy Art: Have a nice nap, Schmurfi!

I am so exited and grateful about Schmurfi being a moderator`s choice pic and so many people looking and commenting on it!!!
Now that I really did answer almost all comments I`ll take the time and browse around to visit them.
And as I know that Schmurfi now is a kind of popular I`ll make myself work hard at it`s story and pictures! Thank you all!

This small animal is so tiny only because it ate from a mushroom that let it shrink. It is called Schmurfi and as it has great adventures behind and in the future waiting it decided to have a sleep full of dreams. I will draw more pics of it because there is a whole story with Schmurfi to be told.

Congrats on the whole Mod's choice thing! Nathalie Reinholz replies: "Thanks. Yeah, to be original is quite hard as everything was already done or thought by someone else. Even Schmurfi has it`s roots in my childhood and what I liked and read there"

Nathalie Reinholz replies: "Some years ago I invented the character and looking through mushroom books last year I thought it might be quite a good idea if I let Schmurfi shrink and sleep in one of them. And then I drew it."
